Well, I had planned on submitting this long ago, but I was waiting on some longterm data and some specs before I posted. I had installed some Axxis Ultimates back in October that I received from StopTech. I was a bit skeptical that they'd be much better than the Metal Masters given the cost difference, but I was wrong. While the pad does indeed give off more dust than the Metal Masters, the cold braking is superb and you still retain the fade resistance. Basically what I was looking for in a pad was one that could stand up to a good amount of repeated braking with minimal fade that also happened to have good cold braking attributes. Talk about wanting the best of both worlds! Fortunately, the Axxis Ultimates delivered on that promise. I know there are many of you, like me, that enjoy spirited driving, going on that occasional canyon cruise or even a track day every now and then. I also know that you most of you don't feel the need to change pads everytime you switch activities especially (leave that to the hardcore racers). In my opinion, this pad delivers that difficult balance. These are also the same pads (different size, of course) that come with their 332MM Big Brake Kit and from what I've heard from Rob (90TurboCA), they work great in that arena as well. I think I'll be joining him with that kit shortly as he and YugoBernie do nothing but rave about it! There's some more data and specifics on the pads over at StopTech's site here and you can purchase them from our forum sponsor Coz at Concept Z Performance
